Boundaries are often framed as a personal failing when they’re missing, and a personal luxury when they’re present. This session offers a different lens: what looks like defiance or disengagement is often a capacity signal, a nervous system that’s out of room, not an attitude problem. We’ll unpack how that bias, judging the behaviour instead of asking what’s behind it, shows up in performance reviews, team dynamics, and everyday workplace friction. Participants leave with language for honest, ongoing conversations about what’s sustainable and how to ask for it while addressing the guilt that often surfaces when we say no.
