About This Retreat
There is pain that many of us carry that did not begin with us. Pain shaped by lived experience, systemic harm, family patterns, silence, and survival. LoveBack: Healing the Pain We Carry is a 4-day immersive retreat for Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour to come together in community—to begin (or deepen) the work of healing, reconnection, and liberation. Grounded in relational practice and collective care, this retreat will center group work, reflection, and guided exploration using Natalie Gutierrez’s workbook, a companion to her book The Pain We Carry.
This retreat will centre on revolutionary love, truth, authenticity, community and self-compassion.
